Christmas Evening menu 2023
Tuesday to Saturday throughout December and Sunday 24th December from 6.30 pm

 
Starters

Warm Goats cheese salad
Pea shoots, cranberry, radish, mandarins and croutons
Or
Wild mushroom and sage risotto with parmesan crisps
Or
White onion and parsnip soup, smoked bacon, parsley oil
Or
Truffled macaroni and smoked haddock bake, polonaise crumb topping
Or
Chicken and duck liver parfait, plum chutney, toasted sourdough


Main course

Pan fried breast of duck, braised red cabbage, port and redcurrant sauce
Or
Rolled turkey breast, stuffed with sausage and apricot, wrapped in smoked bacon,
Or
Feather blade of beef, creamed potato, buttered greens, bordelaise sauce
Or
Pan-fried sea bass, celeriac puree, buttered greens, shallots, red wine sauce
Or
Beetroot lentil and root vegetable pitivier, white wine cream sauce with edamme beans

Choose from a selection of desserts and puddings from our menu

Our dishes contain many ingredients so please ask a member of our waiting team for an allergen card to fill out if you have special dietary requirements so extra care can be taken when preparing your meal
 
Corkage charge
If customers have a special or paticular bottle of wine they like and would prefer to bring and enjoy with their meal then we are happy to allow this.
There will be an additional corkage charge added to the bill - we are going to charge this per head rather than per bottle so a set price of £2.00 per head.
