Christmas Evening menu 2017
Tuesday to Saturday throughout December 2017
(except Boxing Day) from 7.00 pm


Red lentil, sweet potato, cumin and coconut soup (V)
Poached pear, stilton cream sauce, walnut, sage herb crumble (V)
Chestnut, wild mushroom and spinach risotto
Braised pork belly and black pudding, green salad with crispy smoked bacon and apple sauce
Smoked salmon and avocado sushi roll served with wasabi and pickled cucumber salad

Main course

Pan fried breast of duck, cranberry, orange and red cabbage pickle finished with a sherry jus
Traditional roast breast of turkey, apricot and sage stuffing, chipolata sausage wrapped in bacon served with gravy
Pan fried sirloin steak served with buttered wild mushrooms and salsa verde
Slow Braised shank of lamb red wine rosemary and garlic sauce
Pan-fried sea bass, flageolet and butter bean cream, red wine jus celeriac puree, sundried tomato
Vegetarian haggis
(oats, lentils, borlotti beans, potato, lemon juice, spices, rosemary, thyme, garlic, wrapped in savoy cabbage and shortcrust pastry )
